According to CRN and their sources Intel will most likely cut back the Intel Inside programme that has been in place for 26 years now and helped OEMs to offer their systems for prices that were yielding a profit without being too much higher than the retail prices of the components. At the same time it was a clever marketing strategy to take to top spot in the CPU market and tighten the grip on it in the last years.

Intel Inside
With an estimated cutback of 40 to 60% this will most likely influence the prices and sales of coming OEM systems and/ or give manufacturers a hard time adjusting to the new circumstances. At the same time this could be the time for competition to step in. Should this be real we could be looking forward to yet some big changes in the OEM market, most of all in the lower priced regions.
There is no official statement from Intel as of now.
